![]() ![]() (its not just GV.I have a client in the Building Supply industry and they have many software packages from cabinet/door/millwork/etc manufacturers that require local admin/no UAC, also I've worked with Pelco and Genetec in the past for cctv and they also have these type of issues.) I've been emailing them for the last ~2yrs(every time a new version is released) to patch DMMultiview and Remote ViewLog so they will run without making the user a local admin and disabling UAC.they keep promising its on the roadmap, but its obviously not a priority for them unfortunately. I agree its a load of crap GV expects you to compromise the security of your OS in order to use their software. Its not that I doubt you.just like to see things for myself. Later today I should be able to do some quick testing on a Win7 machine I am re-imaging, I'll be sure to try on IE10 before upgrading it to IE11. ![]() ![]() I am 100% sure UAC is enabled, set to the default level (2nd 'notch' down from the top of the slider) Out of curiosity, have you pulled up UAC to verify its on, or are you assuming its on since you didn't manually turn it. ![]()
